The community is invited to this one-on-one networking event held Tuesday morning May 25th at 9:00 am at Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, NJ, 07733. Enter at the main visitor entrance. Celebrity Chef David Burke – Rock star of the culinary world! Head Chef Burke is from Hazlet and is now world famous for his culinary expertise (too many awards to list), television appearances, restaurant empire … Burke will talk about adapting to survival and indeed in a very hard hit industry flourish last year. During the pandemic, he expanded his business and recently opened the Red Horse restaurant in Rumson. Burke will speak about #FeedtheHeroes, Burke’s program that cooked and delivered 100,000 meals to frontline workers and charities.

Marilyn Schlossbach – Inspirational restaurateur, cook, community influencer … She’ll tell us how she handled the pandemic storm from the perspective of a business owner and a humanitarian person. Schlossbach will share with us their care for the community through their non-profit Food Truck from Food For Thought by The Sea. Schlossbach is Executive Chef and owner of the Marilyn Schlossbach Group (Langosta Lounge, Pop’s Garage, Asbury Park Yacht Club and Marilyn Schlossbach Catering and Events).

Stephanie Cartier – Founder of the famous No Limits Cafe Cartier will tell her personal story about opening a restaurant for young adults with intellectual disabilities. The successful No Limits Cafe has received national attention and is located on Route 35 in Middletown. The cheerful restaurant, known for its delicious food and excellent service, employs 37 adults with intellectual disabilities. Cartier will talk about their non-profit model, the great need for training and employment of young adults with disabilities, how they managed to survive the pandemic, and how your company can get involved!

Michael Campanella, local graduate of Holmdel High School 2019, author of new cookbook; Theater of the kitchen: Cooking with instinct, intuition and disrespect from the perspective of an actor. Campanella, an acting major at NYU, began brainstorming the book in August 2019 after reading cookbook after cookbook and feeling frustrated with her prescriptive, restrictive language and approach. He wrote a book that encourages creativity in the kitchen – focusing on developing instinct, intuition, and disrespect rather than following recipes – and using the lessons of his acting education to do so.

Here you can join the Holmdel Chamber. This is an all volunteer organization that focuses on the four pillars of. Business, NonProfit / Charities, Government, Health / Wellness. Membership is only $ 50.
